20 to 780 scfm, 34 to 1,326 Nm3/hr available for immediate shipment from our Newport, NC facility. Housings with modular connections eliminate the need for interconnecting piping. Wall mounting brackets allow for easy installation. Bayonet-style housings and push-on elements make service easy. Standard options include: differential pressure gauges, liquid level indicators, and automatic drains. The
optional Hankison Filter Monitor can determine the optimal
time to replace a filter element.

flow models
Water-cooled models use cooling water to lower compressed air temperature — generally 10 to 20°F, 6 to 11°C above the cooling water temperature. Air-cooled models use ambient air to lower compressed air temperature — generally 5 to 20°F, 3 to 11°C above the ambient air temperature. As
the compressed air temperature is lowered, up to 70%
of the water vapor present in the air will condense to
liquid water. View Product Catalog HS
Series Oil Water Separator Water and oil condensate exists wherever compressed air is used. Depending
upon compressor capacities, working and installation
conditions, the volume of condensate which exists in
a compressed air system can range in between 3 and 2,640
gallons per month. For example, a installation, which
delivers 180 scfm of compressed air at 100 psi and is
working 8 hours a day under atmospheric conditions of
70°F, 15 psi and 70% relative humidity, generates
8 gallons of condensate Legislation
requires that oil condensate
be separated from water
condensate and disposed of properly.
After the oil is separated,
the water condensate can
then be sent to the sewer
system. The HS Series automatically separates the oil from the water.
