HF Series Compressed Air Filters
HF Series compressed air filters provide the exact degree of filtration needed for your application.

20 to 780 scfm, 34 to 1,326 Nm3/hr available for immediate shipment from our Newport, NC facility.

Housings with modular connections eliminate the need for interconnecting piping.

Wall mounting brackets allow for easy installation.

Bayonet-style housings and push-on elements make service easy.

Standard options include: differential pressure gauges, liquid level indicators, and automatic drains.

The optional Hankison Filter Monitor can determine the optimal time to replace a filter element.

Air-cooled and Water-cooled Aftercoolers
Hankison aftercoolers cool compressed air temperature to safe, usable temperatures and precondition the air for further filtering and drying.

Water-cooled models use cooling water to lower compressed air temperature — generally 10 to 20°F, 6 to 11°C above the cooling water temperature.

Air-cooled models use ambient air to lower compressed air temperature — generally 5 to 20°F, 3 to 11°C above the ambient air temperature.

As the compressed air temperature is lowered, up to 70% of the water vapor present in the air will condense to liquid water.

HS Series Oil Water Separator
The HS Series, when sized and installed correctly, meets most legal requirements by providing a residual oil content level in the condensate of 10 ppm.

Water and oil condensate exists wherever compressed air is used.

Depending upon compressor capacities, working and installation conditions, the volume of condensate which exists in a compressed air system can range in between 3 and 2,640 gallons per month. For example, a installation, which delivers 180 scfm of compressed air at 100 psi and is working 8 hours a day under atmospheric conditions of 70°F, 15 psi and 70% relative humidity, generates 8 gallons of condensate
per day.

Legislation requires that oil condensate be separated from water condensate and disposed of properly. After the oil is separated, the water condensate can then be sent to the sewer system.
Legal requirements vary from place to place as to the minimum acceptable oil content.

The HS Series automatically separates the oil from the water.

Condensate Drains
Hankison condensate drains automatically discharge water, oil and oil/water emulsions from your compressed air system.

Snap-Trap and Trip-L-Trap
Pneumatically-Actuated Drains

Float-activated pilot valve operates on demand allowing an air-powered piston to open a large discharge port

  • Tested to over a million cycles
  • Level actuated — operates only on demand

H532 & 533 Series
Electrically-Actuated Drains

Highly accurate timer controls valve open and closed times.

A solid-state timer ensures accurate control of cycle times.

Adjustable interval (time between openings) and duration (drain open time).
